Dr. Christina DeJong is an Associate Professor in the School of Criminal Justice at Michigan State University. Her research focuses primarily on gender, sexuality and crime, with special emphases on victimization and incarceration. Recently, Dr. DeJong’s research has focused on transgender homicide victims, and the intersection of gender, race, and sexuality in those crimes.
